§ About

A small practice, one manuscript at a time.

Radiant Minds is an editorial practice for medical research writing. We have been working with postgraduate candidates, clinicians and research faculty on theses, manuscripts and journal submissions since 2018. We do one kind of work, and we do it carefully.

Our origin

Why we opened the desk.

The market for medical thesis and manuscript support in India has been crowded with a certain kind of operation: broad services across every subject, vague promises of guaranteed publication, delivery claims that a careful clinician would not sign off on. What was missing was the quieter version. Editors with clinical or research training. Named attribution. Revisions until the work reads as the author’s. No ghost authorship, no journal pay-to-publish schemes.

We opened our desks in 2018 on a simple premise: a postgraduate candidate deserves the same editorial care that a scholarly journal gives its own pages. That has meant staying small, staying on medical research exclusively, and turning down work that is not a good fit rather than taking on everything.

We work with MD, MS, DNB, DM and MCh candidates on thesis work; with clinicians and researchers on manuscripts, systematic reviews and case reports; and with faculty on grant proposals and publication-track articles. Whatever stage you are at, the editor assigned to your project has read papers in your field before.

How we work

Principles that don’t move.

  • Named editor, subject-matter matched

Every engagement is led by a specific editor with clinical or research training in your specialty. You work with that person from scoping through delivery; they do not hand off to a rotating pool.

  • No ghost authorship

Per ICMJE authorship recommendations, we do not meet the authorship threshold on your work. Our role is editorial and analytical, documented plainly in the acknowledgements if you wish to include it.

  • Revisions until your standard is met

Every engagement includes rounds of revision until the work reads as yours and satisfies your guide or your target journal's reviewers. We do not cap revisions at a round count when the brief is the same.

  • Originality, audited

Every manuscript clears Turnitin or iThenticate before it leaves our desk; the similarity report is supplied with the final delivery. UGC 2018 thresholds are the floor, not the ceiling - core content is held to zero tolerance.

  • Confidentiality by default

Signed NDA on every engagement covering unpublished data, methodology, patient information and institutional affiliations. Encrypted transfer; password-protected files sent by separate channel.

  • Work we turn down

Ghostwriting of another author's named work; manuscripts targeted at predatory journals; projects where the methodology is unsalvageable and cannot be redesigned; anything that would require misrepresentation to pass review.

Our departments

Five desks, one manuscript.

I

Management

Scopes every engagement, assigns the editor and statistician to match your specialty, and stays your single point of contact from brief to delivery. Holds the confidentiality undertaking and the delivery calendar.

II

Writing

Subject-matter editors who draft against your data, your supervisor's direction, and the target journal's conventions. Each manuscript is assigned to an editor with clinical or research training in the specialty.

III

Data Analysis

Statisticians working in SPSS, R and STATA. Design consult, sample size, hypothesis testing, regression, survival analysis, and meta-analysis. Every analysis is written as a reproducible script, not point-and-click output.

IV

Reviewing

A second editor reads every draft before it leaves the desk. Structural integrity, clinical plausibility, citation consistency and conformance to the reporting guideline (CONSORT 2025, STROBE, CARE, PRISMA 2020) are checked independently of the writer.

V

Editing

Copy editing and substantive editing against the target style guide (AMA 11, Vancouver / ICMJE, CSE, Chicago). Reference list verification, DOI checks, similarity report, and final compliance against the journal's author guidelines.

Standards

The frameworks we work to.

Medical research has published standards for almost every kind of work it produces. We build against them so your manuscript survives peer review on the substance, not on hope.

Work with us

Tell us what you’re working on.

Send over an abstract, a chapter, a research idea or a vague direction. We reply within one working day with a clear scope and a fixed quote, no obligation to proceed.
